Selina, Angela, Michael
Painting Selina was a struggle. Not only was she too beautiful but she didn’t do staying awake, sitting still or not talking, so the first sitting was a disaster. However the next day was one of the best, she stayed awake by singing her audition pieces while I painted, including ‘Cry Me A River’, one of my favourite songs. It could have been Julie London sitting there on the Jubilee Line. Her companions are my sister and brother-in-law lost in their own thoughts.
