Paul, Janet, Paul
I like the contrasts here. In the middle Janet is endangering her eyesight with her liner pencil. Paul on the left finds this more engaging than his FT – who wouldn’t – but is he worried, fascinated, or disapproving?
Meanwhile, Paul on the right, retired architect and City of London Guide, is not so easily distracted. A Tube journey is the ideal time to add another chapter to his already compendious knowledge of London’s architecture. Very sadly, Paul died in 2013 while out researching a new project and is greatly missed by all who knew him.
